A River of history, and the very river itself runs through the mill. The Dover Brothers built the mill in 1906. Two years alter they installed two Sampson turbines that ran the milling operation, and provided some electric power for the Village of Stockport. Today the turbines are being restored.This carefully renovated , historic 1906 Grist Mill is now a beautiful and luxurious 14 room Country Inn .
